Your Never Outgrow your Backpack

Backpacks are as trendy for grown ups as they are for kids. Every day you see adults sporting leather bags or even bags printed with kid's themes like Sponge Bob and McDonald's fries. So if your little guy or little girl wants to act like mom or older sis or brother, make sure that they have one also.
The big difference between kids backpacks and grown up ones is obviously the size. You don't want to weigh a kid down with a cumbersome bag that will cause them to slip or hurt themselves. We recommend a one no larger than 91/2 to 12 inches for kids 2 to 4 and 12" to 18" for older siblings up to 8 years old. After that, kids can pretty much manage any size and the larger the backpack the more they can stuff in it and the happier they are.
This brings up another big warning for parents.. What a toddler stuffs in his backpack is a lot different than what an older kids or adult would carry. Toddlers love to squirrel away snacks and crayons. They may even collect small insects or flowers and hide them in zippered compartments. These possessions can get smelly and create stains. So when you choose a backpack for a toddler, don't waste your money on leather and fancy fabrics. Look for something that is washable and easy care. Cotton is king when it comes to kids accessories and the finest cotton backpack available is a Stephen Joseph personalized backpack in quilted cotton with designs like butterflies, spaceships, ladybugs, trains, construction equipment and other color kids themes .
