Why I Love My Cashmere Poncho

My cashmere poncho topper kept my comfortable the entire cool summer and now I realize it is good for something totally unexpected. This summer was unusually cold in the northeast . It was cold wherever you went and the weather would change suddenly from 70 and sunny to 50 and rainy so I never knew what to wear to keep me happy the entire day. That is not until www.namelynewborns.com decided to sell cashmere for mom's gifts and we discovered beautiful cashmere shawls and wraps in over 46 wonderful colors.
We had always sold amazing cashmere baby blankets and everyone raved about how soft they were and comfy for baby to be cuddled in. We knew the magical properties of cashmere which is a natural product that comes from the under belly of special goats. The goat is shaved and the hair is processed and cleaned and then woven into the finest fabric on the planet. Goats are tiny and there is not much underbelly hair ; so it takes a lot of baby goats to make a fine cashmere sweater or blanket.
Cashmere has the ability to whisk off water so if stuff happens when a baby is sleeping, it doesn't go all over the place. It also is a fabric that breathes so that it keeps you warm in winter and in spring and fall it allows air to flow and you are comfortable but never hot.
Well today, I tested my cashmere poncho to the limit and it passed the final test. I got caught in a cool shower without my umbrella,so I quickly pulled my poncho up over my head for protection. Much to my surprise, my hair stayed totally dry and the cashmere protected my upper body from rain. So not only does cashmere keep baby bottoms dry; it can protect adults. Now, I am never going any where without a cashmere cover in my purse. They are so light weight that you can roll them up into a tiny ball and they can fit into almost anything. They don't wrinkle so when you unroll them, they are as good as new and look fabulous over ever outfit.
