eed them simultaneously by propping them up on pillows, hold them both in her arms when only a Mother’s love will do and find some time for herself.

Even the simplest decision on how to raise a baby becomes a dilemma when dealing with twins. The first decision the new Mother has to make is where should they sleep? Should they sleep in separte cribs or in the same crib.

When my twin grand daughters were born, their parents decided to allow them to co- sleep in one of the cribs. They slept together the first six weeks of their life until one rolled over slightly and kicked the other causing her to cry in the middle of the night. This was only the beginning of their wild midnight adventures.

After they were moved to their separate cribs, they began communicating in that strange twin language that only twins can understand. They giggled and laughed till all hours of the night. When they were a year, they figured out how to take off their pampers. One would wake up first, take off her pampers and wiggle out of her pajamas; then she would wake the other who copied her. They would stand in their cribs laughing and giggling until their parents woke up to redress them and if necessary change the sheets.
